Bank9ja Merchant Collect is a smart, secure, and cost-effective cardless payment gateway that allows merchants to accept payments both online and at your physical store. It comes with instant settlements, ability to generate multiple virtual accounts and assign to your various stores.
Who can use Bank9ja Merchant Collect?
Everyone. We have both business and individual plans. Whether you're a registered corporate or e-commerce business, an online vendor on social media or you are Managing a physical shop or a chain of stores, Bank9ja Merchant Collect has a plan for you.
How do I sign up?
Visit: www.9psb.com.ng/bank9jamerchantcollect to register either as a Business or as an Individual. Follow the prompts to set up your profile and start receiving payments.
How do I setup my Business(es) on the Platform
Steps to Get Started on the Platform
Complete your onboarding on the platform by adding your preferred settlement account (either an existing account or you open a new one instantly).
Add or create your business profile(s) — you can register multiple businesses if applicable.
Generate virtual account numbers for each business to enable collections (up to a maximum of 5 accounts).
Print and display your virtual account number in a visible location at your store for easy customer access.

How do I integrate Bank9ja Merchant Collect on my website?
Once you sign up, go to the Settings section of your dashboard to retrieve your API keys. You can then integrate using our easy-to-use plugins from WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify, Joomla, and more.
Do I need a developer to integrate it?
Not necessarily. Our plugins are beginner-friendly, and we provide detailed guides to help you through. For more complex setups, a developer may help speed things up.
Is there a mobile app?
The platform is mobile-responsive, which means Merchants can access the platform through their smartphone or tablet’s web browser (we recommend using Goolle Chrome) and enjoy the same experience as on a desktop.
What are the transaction charges?
Bank9ja Collect offers the lowest transaction fees in the market — with even lower rates for merchants who use 9PSB as their settlement bank.
0.5% per transaction (capped at ₦500) for merchants using a 9PSB settlement account.
0.8% per transaction (capped at ₦800) for merchants using other bank accounts as their settlement
Are there any hidden fees or setup charges?
None at all. There are no setup, maintenance, or monthly fees. Merchants are charged per transaction.
How fast will I receive my money?
Merchants using a 9PSB settlement account enjoy instant settlement. Funds reflect instantly in your settlement account after a transaction is completed.
Merchant using non-9PSB accounts are settled T+1 to their specified Bank Account on the platform.
Can I use my existing bank account for settlement?
Yes, you can sign up on the platform with your existing account from any Bank as your settlement bank. However, Merchant with 9PSB account enjoy lower rates and instant settlement.
How many virtual accounts do I generate?

Can I monitor my transactions and download reports?
Yes, The Dashboard gives you access to real-time transaction report across all your stores (online or offline), settlement to your settlement account, analytics, and downloadable reports.
Is there a limit to the amount I can receive?
It is unlimited, however huge transaction amounts will be subject to review and checks by Compliance team.
Is Bank9ja Merchant Collect secure?
Absolutely. We use industry-grade encryption and best practices to protect all transactions and user data.
What support do I get after onboarding

Do you support recurring payments or subscription billing?
Not yet, but we’re working on it. Keep an eye on updates from your dashboard or email notifications.
Can I receive international payments?
International payments are not available at this time, but expansion is in the pipeline.

Yes. Your dashboard includes tools to help you track transaction volumes, monitor trends, and grow smarter.
